The Dock is the Mac’s version of a junk drawer. You start with a clean row of apps, and six months later it’s a cluttered mess of things you swear you’ll use someday. The trick is to treat the Dock like a working surface, not a storage unit. Keep what you touch daily. Everything else belongs in Launchpad, where it can’t judge you.
